Chapter 15: Brothers Forever

Julius	家に帰れ、ルドガー。 やっぱりお前には無理だったんだ	Then you better go home, Ludger. You just don't have the stomach for this.
Julius	けど、俺は、そんなお前が—	Though I have to admit, that's what I love about--
Julius	すまん…… 手をわずらわせることになった	I'm sorry. But it looks like I will have to trouble you after all.
Milla	……わかった	Understood.
Gaius	俺がやる	Allow me.
Jude	ガイアス！	Gaius?!

『やめてくれ！　やめてくれ！』	"Stop! Please, just stop!"	『やめてくれ！　やめてくれ！』	"Stop! Please, just stop!"

Gaius	……許しは請わん	It has to be this way.
Gaius	俺たちは、この世界のために カナンの地へ辿り着かねばならないのだ	For the sake of this world, we must reach the Land of Canaan.

『兄さんを守る！』	"Then I'll protect Julius myself!"	『兄さんを守る！』	"Then I'll protect Julius myself!"

[Ludger screams.]
Jude	ルドガー……！？	Ludger?!
[Ludger helps Julius to his feet, then takes Julius’ silver pocketwatch.]
Julius	お前……っ！	What?!
[Ludger turns against his friends.]

Julius Ending

[Ludger stands between the party and Julius.]
Jude	まさか！	Wait!
[Ludger uses his and Julius’ watches and transforms into a Level 3 Chromatus, then attacks the party.]
Jude	ちょっ、ルドガー！？	Ludger, stop!
Rowen	なにを！？	What?!
[Ludger duels briefly with Rowen, then is whacked aside by Leia.]
Leia	やめてってば！	Knock it off!
Leia	ル、ルドガー……	L-Ludger...
[Ludger counterattacks and knocks Leia away, continuing his fight with Rowen. Teepo fires an arte at him.]
Teepo	こらー！	Eat this!
[Ludger kicks Teepo, then launches a beam at Elize.]
Alvin	エリーゼ！	Elize!
[Alvin saves Elize.]
Muzét	あなたは！	Why would you--
[Ludger knocks Muzét out of the air and lands on the pillars opposite Gaius. The two charge at each other and cross their weapons, causing a shockwave.]
Julius	なんてことを……	What have you done?
[Ludger lands on the ground without his Chromatus, then blocks a punch from Jude with his swords.]
Jude	ルドガー……	Damn it.
[Milla draws her sword.]
Milla	それが君の決断か	This is truly your decision?
[Ludger nods. He charges at both of them and the boss battle against the party begins.]

Julius	ルドガー……	Ludger...
Julius	お前は……俺なんかのために、 すべてを捨てたのか？	You... You threw away everything for me?

『兄さんが俺にしてくれたことだよ』	"It's what you did for me."	『兄さんが俺にしてくれたことだよ』	"It's what you did for me."

Julius	しかし、ビズリーの真のもてきは……	But... Bisley's true goal…
Julius	全部……無駄だったか……	So this was all in vain.
Julius	ルドガー……	Ludger...
Julius	……ああ、だが、これも	Or maybe...
Julius	俺の望んだ世界……か	...this is the world I wanted too.

Ludger	夕飯にしよう……何が食べたい？	Let's have dinner. What do you want to eat?
Julius	そうだな……	Let's see.
Julius	トマトソースパスタがいい	I'd like tomato sauce pasta.
Julius	お前、俺はトマトさえあれば幸せって思ってるだろう？	I bet you think I'd be happy with anything tomato…
Julius	まあ、そのとおりなんだかな……	And you would be right.

Julius	……覚悟できたか	So you're ready.
Julius	なら……もう少しだけ付きあおう	If that's the case, let me be your big brother one last time.
Julius	俺を倒せないような弱虫じゃ…… 安心できないからな	I need to see for myself if you're strong enough to see this through.
Jude	ルドガー！	W-Wait!
Gaius	よせ	Stop.
Milla	これは、あの二人の戦いだ	We have no right to intervene in their fight.
Julius	前は、悪かったな、ルドガー	Sorry about the entrance exam.
Julius	今度こそ……本気の試験だ	This time the test is real!
Julius	まだだ、ルドガー…… この程度じゃ、とめられないぞ！	That's not good enough, Ludger. You're never going to achieve victory like that!

Jude	……ごめん。 なんの力にもなれなかった	I'm so sorry. I wish we could have done something.

Jude	僕も協力するよ。 ユリウスさんに誓って	Then I'll do everything I can to help build it. That's my vow to Julius.
Jude	エルを助けよう	We'll save her.
Milla	世界を壊しもするが、一人一人が 世界を生み出す可能性をもっている	Every human being has the potential not just to destroy worlds, but to create them as well.

Jude	そうだね。 それは、ルドガーだけの言葉だ	I don't blame you at all. Those words were for you alone.
Milla	だが、ユリウスの意志は、 私たちも受けとった	Nevertheless, his final wish is obvious even to me.
Jude	もちろん僕も	Me, too.
Milla	自らの死さえ超えて、心を伝えることができる	To think human bonds remain strong even across the gulf of death.

Milla	クロノス、オリジン— 私は、そんな人間たちを信じるよ	Chronos, Origin: Know this is why I fight. Why I put my faith in humanity.
